KOTA KINABALU: A total of 12 food essentials are controlled items beginning yesterday until January 30 for the Chinese New Year celebrations.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah employers have proposed a reasonable and affordable minimum wage that takes into account food, lodging and transportation needs commonly provided for workers.

The Federation of Sabah Manufacturers (FSM) president Datuk Seri Panglima Wong Khen Thau said Sabah employers also called for a gradual implementation of the scheme and appealed to the government to extend the three-year grace period.
